I'm not sure why GJ Kelly doesn't seem to have more of a following (based on how many reviews this book has). He is in my mind one of the top 5 fantasy authors currently writing. He consistently releases his books and they are all well written. This one is no different. The twists and turns, dry, witty dialogue/humor (I laughed out loud more than once reading this), action, and character development makes this book one of my favorites of the last year (if not my favorite). Kelly does an excellent job of balancing world building, dialogue, character development, and action. Nothing is predictable or cliche in his writing. At 658 pages, you definitely get your money's worth. If you haven't read Kelly, I recommend starting at his first book in the Longsword Chronicles before starting this series. If you have read him and are wondering if this series is as good as that, I will say that I believe it is. Looking forward to the next book.Product details

Hurna's Hand (The Six Concentrics Book 2)
I loved this book. There's so much to it. What could have been the end of the book is only 1/3 of the way in! It had me guessing all the way through. Did not want to put it down. It was great to revisit with the characters and the story is grand. GJK has done it again. Now I can't wait for the next one.

Fantastic read, I have had trouble putting it down. What an unusual pairing off Ben and Paj but it seems to work. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.

GJ Kelly is one of my favorite writers, he pulls you in to the story with masterful ease. The characters come to life , the heroes hailed and evil hated!
