oh my gosh.. I made it through the short previous books in this series even though it is all about ELLEN... how she looks, how she acts, how she is liked and disliked, how she is always hit on by guys but she only has eyes for the police chief. Whoopee.. same ole' same ole'. What is different about this 3rd book is ...it is boring!!!! the first 10 pages were so mind numbing I skipped them. Just when it starting getting ok with the storyline. The editorial mistakes drove me nuts. Maybe, the author/editor rushed to get this into print but I have no desire to finish this story or to even continue with the series.
Leona Fox has been one of my favorite authors...her Seagrove Cozy series has me begging for more.. but this East Pender Cozy series is just not on same caliber of interest.
Enjoyed reading this mystery.
The book story keeps you guessing clear up to the end.
